Artist's notes: "A winged Pope, bearing the traditional crucifix staff, soars over a vast multitude of outstretched arms with a watercolor sky and landscape in the background. The 400+ polymer arms, ranging in length from 1.5 to 4.5 inches, are arranged in diorama fashion to create an illusion of great distance, although the actual depth of the sculpture is only 12 inches."
