Artist's notes: "In this work commissioned by Sarah Hacker as a gift to her gourmet husband, Peter, Chef Pierre swoops down bearing a soufflé made of acrylic foam. Line drawings of kitchen utensils cover the upper surfaces of the wings, and the underside is inscribed with actual recipes with an angelic or heavenly motif. The chef wears a traditional toque and double-breasted jacket."
