Artist's notes: "The Cat Butler poses the age-old question engraved on his antique sterling silver dish: "Who Killed Cock Robin?" Miniature images on the cummerbund correspond to creatures featured in the verses of the Cock Robin poem (i.e., sparrow, fly, fish, beetle, owl, etc.). The figure is modeled after my cat, Spats. It has real shed cat whiskers and fish hook ‘claws’ and its eyes glow in dark. As for who killed Cock Robin, I think the butler did it."
